Shaffer hit a solo shot off Daniel Webb in the seventh inning of Tampa Bay’s 11-3 win over the White Sox in Chicago. He was one of four Rays to homer in the game, and his blast made the score 10-1.

When he got to the dugout, his teammates huddled together and ignored him. Shaffer just pretended as if they were there anyway, high-fiving and hugging the air.
