Graham is on the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook’s props board for 69.5 receiving yards, and it’s hard to believe that Graham won’t be force-fed in a game the Saints need to buttress their playoff hopes.
Graham has hit the 70-yard plateau in two of the last three weeks. He caught all seven targets against the Panthers (83 yards) and 10 of 13 targets against the 49ers (76 yards). Playing into Graham’s hands is the season-ending injury to WR Brandin Cooks. Cooks handled a lot of the Saints’ short and intermediate routes, and while he wasn’t posting superstar numbers in his rookie season, his absence will force the Saints to rely more heavily on the rest of their receiving corps, starting with Graham.
Baltimore has been good, statistically, against tight ends this year. They’ve yet to allow an opposing tight end to cross the 60-yard mark against them (the Colts’ duo of Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener did combine for 89 yards on five catches), but it’s worth noting they haven’t exactly faced a murderer’s row of tight ends. Graham is head and shoulders above any other tight end the Ravens have faced so far this season.
The Sporting News Fantasy Source staff expects Graham to bounce back this week, ranking him as their No. 2 tight end for Week 12.
